Autex Industries is a privately owned New Zealand company producing acoustic and thermal home insulation products made from durable, safe and friendly polyester. The GreenStuf® insulation range is designed to keep your home warm, dry, quiet, healthy and energy efficient for a lifetime. GreenStuf® insulation is a non-irritant, non-toxic and non-allergenic fibre that cannot be breathed into your lungs. GreenStuf® is safe for anyone coming into contact with it.
GreenStuf® pads, designed for the thermal insulation of timber-framed buildings, can be used in internal and external wall insulation. They come as insulation segments pre-cut to fit standard timbermframing and are thermally bonded into shape. Designed to be self-supporting in walls, they require no stapling into place.
GreenStuf® underfloor is ideal for insulating existing homes. When it comes to underfloor insulation, the Rodney Insulation team has found that over 80% of their customers prefer GreenStuf polyester insulation products over all others.
Underfloor insulation reduces drafts and heat loss through floor boards joins. GreenStuf® comes in a range of thermal performance options and as rolls pre-cut to fit standard exposed timber joist floors. No mess and no fuss.
Your home will be quieter and cosier. GreenStuf® has excellent acoustic properties; as underfloor insulation it is a remarkable sound absorber.
About 35% of heat loss from an average uninsulated home occurs through the celling, The most effective way to insulate the ceiling is to install bulk insulation between joists, combined with a blanket rolled over the top – this eliminates thermal bridging where the heat escapes through the wooden joists.
GreenStuf® comes as insulation pads (batts) and in roll form; perfect for effective ceiling insulation. Installed as a blanket it can be simply rolled out over the top of the ceiling joists, insulating the ceilings of existing homes and new builds.
